CineStory Named One of MovieMaker Mag’s Top 15 Screenwriting Contests
Amidst the turmoil of sheltering in place for the past six weeks, it was wonderful to discover that CineStory was ranked by MovieMaker Magazine as one of its 15 Submission-Worthy Screenwriting Competitions of 2020.
We’re excited to be included on this prestigious list of contests “worth your time and money in 2020” alongside such powerhouses as The Academy Nicholl Fellowship, the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, and the Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab.
What thrills us most of all are these words of praise:
While film festivals are a great place to mingle with industry professionals, they’re big, loud, and busy. Meaningful connection between writers and mentors is more likely to be sparked in the intimate setting that Cinestory provides.
We at CineStory strive to encourage writers and mentors alike to build relationships and forge close bonds that extend beyond our retreats and into their professional lives. It’s great to hear we’re accomplishing that goal.
Thank you, MovieMaker Magazine, for this bright spot in the current chaotic landscape!
